Founder bio

Carlos Tarragona-Turu is the founder and sole operator of Shinplex. With roots in a Spanish family based in North London, Carlos developed Shinplex out of frustration with the ill-fitting, one-size-fits-all shin pads available on the market. He designed a shin pad that could be heat-moulded to each player's unique shin shape — removing the slippage, discomfort, and distraction that comes with generic protection.
